Program Timeline
The following is an outline of the TeamSmile experience:
Day Prior To Program
Set Up: (4 hours depending on number of volunteers)
- Unload truck / Park the truck
- Set Up Equipment and Supplies
- Test Equipment
Program Day
6:00 – TeamSmile Staff arrives
7:30 – Henry Schein Staff arrives
7:45 – Volunteers Arrive
8:30 – Program Orientation
8:45 – Specific Area Instructions
9:00 – Children Arrive
11:30am-1pm – Revolving Lunch for Volunteers Only
End of Program- 3pm or When Last Child is Finished
Dental Clinic
Child’s Dental Visit Schedule
- Check In
- Patient Exam
- X-ray
- Restorative Care
- Preventative Care- Cleaning + Sealants
- Check Out
Activities
Dancing, Face Painting, Educational Breakouts, Player, Mascot, and Cheerleader Meet and Greet
11:30am-1pm – Revolving Volunteer Lunch
3:00 – Program Ends – Tear Down (2hours)
5:00 – Load Truck
